--I'm brand new at this blogging thing. So bare with me. Any tips or advice is much appreciated!

--I don't know why my kids insist on waking before 6:00am with no intention of going back to bed anytime soon. It seems like whether they go to bed at 8:00pm or 1:00am, they will still be bright eyed & bushy tailed by 6:00am.

--Still trying to get everything in order to move. Yay move! Goodbye Alaska. Goodbye snow, goodbye -40, goodbye 24/7 daylight, goodbye Army Life. We are going to be doing it the civilian way. Very bittersweet...

--Debating on buying the Flye Baby Airplane Seat. I was reading the reviews & a few people brought up a good point.. What if it's not allowed on the plane? Does it meet the standards? I would hate to buy it & not be able to use it. Does anyone know? Has anyone used a Flye Baby Seat before?

--I'm expecting my Bulu Box, Citrus Lane & Bluum sometime very soon. My first Bluum & my first Bulu! I want to try so many others. Fancy, Wanted, PopSugar... so many boxes so little money! I won't be getting a Birchbox this month, I cancelled it. I might have just been unlucky a few times but I was underwhelmed.**

--Upset about my Pacifica order. I got a email that it shipped on July 1st. That's 17 days ago. I still haven't received it. I emailed them and they said there was a mix up in their deliveries & instead of being shipped by plane, everything was shipped by truck. Their customer service is off the charts. I also got a $10 coupon on my next order for my troubles! Can't beat that!

--I'm just now getting around to this week's episode of PLL. Does anyone else feel that this season isn't as good as the past seasons? I still enjoy watching it, don't get me wrong, but I'm not dying to watch it like I did in the past.

Civilain Life is Approaching...

It's been a while since I've posted! Just been very busy. Getting out of the Army very soon! Trying to get everything in order. Bittersweet. Though I am ready to move on with our lives. This could be a start of a very good chapter for us! New possibilities, new scenery & new faces (some old ones, too. We are moving near family!)
Oh how I miss family!
My husband has proudly served his country for almost 7 years which included OIF & OEF. (Deployments to both Iraq & Afghanistan.) It's definitely going to be an adjustment for us, but I'm not too worried. After all, we have gotten through A LOT together.

One thing that's a giant plus is leaving Alaska!! It'a a god awful place to live! These last 2 years have felt like a lifetime! It is beautiful though :) Which doesn't make up for the -40 degree temperatures, 24/7 sunlight, mutant mosquitos & just a lack of things to really do.

Goodbye Alaska.
Goodbye ARMY.

The Beach. Definitely.
Tanning.
Waves.
Sand.
Sea Breeze.
Sunglasses.
Flip Flops.
I lived in the mountains for about 5 years in Georgia. Actually, I guess I currently am living in the mountains here in Alaska. It's pretty and all, but NOT for me!

Besides from absolutely loving the beach, I love the whole beach town atmosphere.
I also lived in Florida for like 10 years & we were 30 minutes away from the beach.
I miss it!

Speaking of the beach, my husband is getting out of the Army very soon & we are moving back to the city I was born in, Gulfport, Mississippi.
Right on the Gulf Coast.
Beach! Beach! Beach!

By far, my favorite is Jennifer over at
Ramblings of a Suburban Mom.

It's a great blog with reviews & giveaways! Unlike a lot of blogs that do reviews and such, she also has personal entries as well. Day to day, actually. I admire her, seeing as I'm a newbie blogger. The way she blogs, and seems to capture the attention of so many people.. that is how I wish to be one day. I feel like we are friends & I've never even met her! I believe that's a great quality in a blogger :)
